Vrushika Mehta, a popular actress known for her role in Dil Dosti Dance (D3), returned to Mumbai specifically to celebrate Navratri. Despite now living in Canada due to marriage, she shares her deep-rooted love for Navratri and garba, stating that no festivity is complete without it. The festive music energizes her, always ready to break into garba spontaneously. Vrushika expresses excitement about dressing up, meeting friends, and dancing during Navratri. Although she has spent most of her life in Mumbai, she dreams of experiencing the vibrant Navratri celebrations in Gujarat someday.

Reflecting on her childhood memories of Navratri, Vrushika recalls her mother dressing her up and bribing her with chocolates to sit still while applying traditional dots on her chin. She fondly remembers her competitive spirit, always aiming to win a prize each night by dancing enthusiastically. When it comes to her preferred Navratri attire, she mentions a love for lightweight flared chaniya cholis that allow graceful spins. For jewelry, she adjusts the style based on whether she's filming or dancing, opting for statement pieces for reels and delicate accessories for dancing.

Vrushika Mehta, now residing in Canada post-marriage, made a special trip to Mumbai to celebrate Navratri. As a proud Gujarati, she emphasizes her inherent love for Navratri and garba, believing no celebration is complete without them. The festive music fills her with energy and spurs her to dance garba anywhere, anytime. She looks forward to dressing up, meeting friends, and dancing during Navratri festivities. Despite being a longtime resident of Mumbai, Vrushika dreams of visiting Gujarat to experience the most authentic Navratri vibes."I used to dream of winning every garba competition in my childhood. Talking about her childhood memories of the festival, she recalls, "My mom would dress me up and make sure I stayed still while she painted three dots on my chin by bribing me with chocolates (laughs). I was very competitive and had a strong determination to win a prize every night. It was all about dancing with all my heart and feeling like a little star." Discussing her preferred Navratri look, she mentions, "I adore flared chaniya cholis, but I opt for lightweight ones for comfort and graceful spins. For jewelry, if I'm filming a reel, I opt for something bold to make a statement. However, for dancing, I choose delicate pieces that complement my outfit."

She expresses anticipation for the day when she and her husband Saurabh can celebrate Navratri together. Saurabh, who enjoys garba, has a different style from hers that she is eager to learn. Although they haven't yet celebrated Navratri together, they did dance garba during their wedding events, which was enjoyable. Vrushika shares, "Spins are definitely my favorite, along with the playful popatiyu. I also enjoy mixing in dodhiyu and trikoniya moves to add variety." Her all-time favorite garba song is "Dakla" for its infectious energy, and she admires Falguni Pathak's iconic songs that set the perfect mood for Navratri.

Recalling her favorite on-set Navratri memory, Vrushika reminisces, "During the filming of Dil Dosti Dance, we shot Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje, which took half a day but was incredibly fun! Our D3 get-togethers always include garba."
